Signing in when you used Google or Facebook

Strexo signs in with an email and password. If you originally created your Stremio account through a third-party provider like Google or Facebook, your account does not have a password yet. Use the steps below to set one so you can sign in to Strexo.

Go to the Stremio web app and open the login page

Open web.stremio.com in your browser. Click Log in to get to the sign-in screen.

Click "Forgot password?"

On the login screen, click the Forgot password? link. Enter the email address you used when you originally signed up with Google, Facebook, or another provider, then submit the form.

Check your email and set a password

Stremio will send a password reset email to that address. Open it and follow the link to create a new password. This assigns a password to your Stremio account for the first time.

Sign in to Strexo with your email and new password

Open Strexo, go to Settings, and sign in using the same email address and the password you just set. Strexo will connect to your Stremio account and syncing will start.
